The Korte Company has recently begun work on an addition at The Highland Home, an independent retirement community located in Highland, Illinois. The addition and renovation work at The Highland Home will expand the existing lobby and offer additional space for a welcome desk and sitting area for residents and visitors.
A drive-through canopy is part of the scope of work and will offer guests and residents protection from the elements. Also included in the renovation is an update of the multi-purpose room, with new wall finishes, a lay-in ceiling and modernized lighting features.
The Korte Company has worked with The Highland Home for many years. In fact, we began our relationship with them in 1961 with a kitchen remodel project. Since then, The Korte Company has completed four additions through the years as the community has grown.
