Armed Forces Reserve Center - Mustang, OK

The project included the design and construction of an a new 1,163-member Army National Guard and Army Reserve Training Center, an Organizational Maintenance Shop, exterior loading ramp, a Flammable Storage Building, Controlled Waste Handling Facility, and Heated and Unheated Storage Facilities. The Training Center will house office spaces, classrooms, a kitchen, locker rooms, mechanical rooms, mailrooms, weapons simulator and control rooms, a unit storage armory/vault, and heated and unheated storage spaces.

The OMS houses work bays, battery room, office areas, classrooms, break areas, tool, supply, and storage rooms, unheated areas, and controlled waste and flammable storage. Fire alarm, mass notification, lightning protection, CCTV and security systems are also provided. Sitework included landscaping and grading, concrete sidewalks, asphalt paving, perimeter fencing and gates, site lighting, and storm and sanitary sewers. Secure parking is provided for military and privately owned vehicles. The facilities achieved LEED Certified Gold and met all Anti-terrorism and Force Protection standards.
