Armed Forces Reserve Center - Tyler, TX

This design-build project is a 65,286 SF two-story Armed Forces Reserve Center with integral Heated Storage, a three- bay, 13,199 SF Vehicle Maintenance Shop and a 1,500 SF pre-engineered metal Unheated Storage building.

The Training Center is a two-story “L” shaped tilt-up building with exterior masonry veneer and includesan assembly hall, locker rooms, open and private offices as well as classrooms. The Vehicle Maintenance Shop features a CMU/masonry veneer exterior with library, battery storage, controlled waste storage, tools & parts supply storage, classrooms, offices and an adjacent vehicle wash platform. The site work includes two detention ponds, landscaping, private vehicle parking lot and secured heavy equipment parking for the Reserves. The project certified LEED Gold by the USGBC.
