Church of Our Lady of the Snows

The Church of Our Lady of the Snows is a spectacular design of cast-in-place concrete. It is highlighted with natural light and a large, decorative plaza and lobby.

The roof has three elevations and a sloped skylight circles three-fourths of the building over an interior corridor.

The church’s circular design proved to be a layout challenge. Everything was established from a center hub including the grid for the rustication strips on the exterior concrete walls. These strips line up with the borders of the concrete plaza at the church entrance.
