The Korte Company was selected as the design-build contractor for the USPS P&DC/RDC in Richmond, Virginia
The new 719,000 square foot facility is one-story, tilt-up concrete construction and consists of a large mail processing workroom and loading dock platform with multiple dock positions, battery charging area, and conveyor equipment.
Additionally, the facility will include support and administrative areas. The site will consist of a combination of asphalt drives and parking for truck traffic as well as parking lots for employees.
