After Hurricane Katrina, the USPS selected The Korte Company to provide extensive restoration and renovation to their 47-year-old facility in the heart of New Orleans.
Korte’s task was to return the facility to "Pre-Katrina" condition, and included upgrading several areas to accommodate new electrical equipment on the second floor.
Korte completed the work 83 days ahead of schedule with cost savings of over $2 million to the USPS. This was accomplished while keeping the facility fully operational during the construction process.
