The district consistently outscores both the Colorado and National Average and has grown by more than 11,000 students in 10 years. Cherry Creek School District No. 5 awarded The Korte Company a contract to provide construction services on a new 61,000 square foot elementary school located in Aurora, Colorado. The new elementary school was needed because of increasing student enrollment and expansion in the school district. The new one-story facility contains 24 classrooms, planning rooms, gymnasium, media center, computer room, multi-purpose room, kitchen, specialized classrooms, offices and miscellaneous support rooms.
