Edwardsville High School

Edwardsville School District selected Korte as the new construction manager for its high school after the original manager failed to keep the project within budget.

Korte and the architect analyzed the building design and generated over 400 cost-saving ideas. The Korte team reduced the original bids by over $5 million.

This award-winning school provides students with a commons area, science center, art rooms, band rooms, an auditorium, and an indoor athletic facility that contains a 3,500 seat gym, running track, weight training room and aerobics room. Each of the 100 classrooms has a telephone, computer and TV monitor networked together.
