The new Track & Field/Soccer Stadium at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUE) is considered one of the best athletic training and performing facilities of its kind in the world.
It was the venue for the Track & Field Events for the 1994 Olympic Festival. The Stadium consists of a soccer field, two dual directional long and triple jump areas and areas for javelin and other throwing events. The world-class facility also includes state-of-the art timekeeping and scoreboard, warm-up area, locker rooms, training areas, concessions, pressbox and seating for 3,000 spectators.
