Army Reserve Center - Fort AP Hill, Virginia

This Project consists of a new 600-member Army Reserve Center Training Building (ARC) that also incorporates unit storage and unheated storage functions, an Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) and a Wash Rack.

These facilities are complete with required utilities, storm drainage and water quality controls, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection/alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), force protection measures, and site improvements.

The facility will serve approximately 266 reservists during the maximum drill weekend. It is anticipated that the facility will be used three weekends per month for Army Reserve training activities.

Interior finishes will be selected that are sustainable, easily-maintained and light in color providing functional, aesthetically pleasing environments. Natural daylighting will be provided to as many of the interior spaces as possible given the plan configurations, with colors and finishes coordinated to create a cohesive design.
