Fort Campbell Medical Clinic Addition

This design-build project was originally started as a 42,000 square feet facility housing the Troop Medical Clinic and the Dental Clinic. The Korte Company in a joint venture with Charpie won the contract to construct the 11,000 square feet addition for the Troop Family Clinic.

The building has full brick façade consisting of two tones of brown brick, standing seam metal roof, and translucent panels at the lobby. The clinic addition seamlessly blends with the existing clinic. The Medical and Dental clinics are located around the central lobby space with the support services surrounding the Troop Medical Clinic. The Family Clinic is located in the addition on the west side of the building.

The Dental Clinic has been positioned on the south side of the lobby space. The Pharmacy opens to the central lobby, and it has 3 dispensing windows. The Optometry clinic is located down the Ancillary Clinic corridor and includes a small dedicated sub waiting area for patients. The Primary Care Clinic contains exam rooms, provider offices, medical treatment rooms, radiology room, and physical therapy At the back of the exam zone, there is an ambulance service loading zone through the rear of the building and away from the public areas. The Family clinic has exam rooms, provider offices, and waiting area with play area. The original project and the addition is being submitted as one building to the USGBC for LEED Silver Certified.
