The expansion and renovation of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Tampa included a new stockhouse, renovation of administrative offices and a new two-level parking structure.
The stockhouse is a four-story steel framed building containing 38 chip tanks. Each tank is 12 feet in diameter by 56 feet long and weighs 13 tons before filling. Because of the weight of the filled tanks, extensive site work was required. The foundation has 390 pilings, some up to 250 feet deep. The project was completed in phases over a 20-month period.
