The Hitachi Computer Products plant in Norman, Oklahoma added 200,000 square feet of warehouse and office space to its current facility and will more than double its size.
The expansion will be the first one in the state using the Oklahoma Development Pooled Finance Program, A state incentive program that allows Hitachi to use state tax withholdings from the plant's employees to pay for construction. The LEED certified facility includes a racking system, warehouse space, office space and administrative offices as well as 20 dock bays. The eco-friendly facility also has parking for hybrid/electric cars as well as bike racks.
