Casa Grande is a 79,540 square foot transitional housing facility to be run by the State Department of Corrections.
The State of Nevada becomes only the fifth state to initiate this innovative type of transitional program in which inmates receive counseling as well as housing, education, employment, financial management, medical and family reunification assistance.
The more than $11 million-dollar project consists of a single-story administration building and two additional two-story residential buildings. Korte and their subcontractors employed over 70 inmates during the construction of the project resulting in almost 10% savings to the client.
