St. Louis Union Station opened in 1985 as a “festival mall”, a collection of small shops and restaurants on two levels.
Over the years, the Station has grown and developed and The Korte Company has been a continuing part of this development. Korte has completed several renovations at the Station, including the creation of the Pullman Market, which included enclosing a two-story area over a restaurant and the conversion of a food court into new shops and storefronts. Other projects include the new Midway Shops and storefronts and additional tenant space on the lower level.
