Heritage of The Korte Company
In 1958, with little more than a truck, a saw and his good name, Ralph Korte founded The Korte Company. Built on a foundation of strong Midwestern values, an innovative spirit and a tireless pursuit of quality, his company's reputation as an innovative force in the industry took hold.
As The Korte Company grew, we continued to incorporate new building methods. In 1963, we paved the way for Design-Build delivery, 20 years before it was recognized by the rest of the industry. In the years that followed, we also added Tilt-Up Construction and Design-Build-Furnish to our list of technological advances.
The progression from neighborhood builder to a nationally recognized Design-Build firm was built on the simple premise of finding new ways to increase productivity and save our clients money.
In layman’s terms, you’d be hard pressed to find another construction company that has had such an impact on the industry for so long.
