Gateway International Raceway

As one of the largest Design-Builders in the US, we build it all — from coast to coast. That includes race track construction and stadium construction for some of the biggest sporting venues and events.

Gateway International Raceway is a first-class facility capable of hosting international-caliber races in the St. Louis area. As the Design-Builder, we used design management, tight scheduling and accurate coordination to provide a race-ready track in time for Gateway’s first international race — two months sooner than originally scheduled.

Located on a 152-acre site, Gateway offers the racing community a 1.25-mile oval track, a quarter-mile drag strip, a road racecourse, a multilevel grandstand that seats 40,000 people and luxury tower suites. A television production room and media rooms for both the oval and drag strip facilitate television broadcasts.

In 1999, The Korte Company added improvements to Turn 2 seating. This addition included elevators, raised concrete mezzanine, concession stands, restrooms, and a first-aid facility.

We’ve delivered many types of builds across the country, including stadium construction projects for high schools and universities.
