Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce

We didn’t set out to create a cultural center or an economic driver that would shape the future of Las Vegas. But we do sweat the small stuff so the big ideas can keep moving.

Ours is a mission to get the job done for the visionaries who are leading our nation’s cities into tomorrow. In this municipal construction project, we completed an expansion of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and delivered best-value construction — on time and on budget.

This is the second project we’ve completed on the Smith Center Campus, which is quickly becoming the cultural epicenter of Las Vegas.

The Korte Company was selected as the construction manager to assist in the completion of the design, analyze various assemblies and finishes for cost efficiencies, and revive constructability issues. The improvements took place in the Boman Pavilion.

Part of the Smith Center Campus, this facility houses the Cabaret Jazz Club while overlooking Symphony Park and the Troesh Studio Theater. Due to its prominent location, our work schedule was subject to the various rehearsals and performances in the building.

Additionally, the building is acoustically sophisticated with extensive sound treatments and isolation. Our design included significant considerations to the necessary acoustical treatments to ensure sound isolation.

The scope of work included improvements to both the first floor and fifth floor of the building. And the job required us to protect the main lobby and the elevator as well as provide daily cleaning of all public spaces at the end of the day.

High-end finishes were used, including a glass operable wall system, frameless glass office walls and doors, Zolatone wall finishes, laminate imported from India, and an open ceiling concept. A feng shui consultant ensured the best possible environment for their employees.
