Naval Academy Prep School BEQ – Naval Station Newport, RI

This Design-Build Bachelors Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) provides 87 units of residential housing for students at the Naval Station Newport Academy Prep School. The design calls for dormitory-style living quarters with unique features different from the standard military BEQ. Residents are housed by battalion and company, with one battalion per floor and one company per wing. Each has its own study facilities, computer labs, and learning and conference rooms. We also built shared spaces that house administrative areas, a lounge, mailroom, medical offices and quarterdeck.
