Robinson Steel Plant

At The Korte Company, our team is experienced in plant construction. Logistics, benchmarking, life cycle cost analysis (LCCA), sustainability — we’re seasoned in designing and building facilities that help manufacturers scale production. This is one of many plant facilities we’ve delivered.

We built Robinson Steel in close proximity to what was originally the Tri-City Regional Port District, now known as America’s Central Port. The plant produced high-quality steel plates and sheets. The advanced manufacturing provided the facility with the capability to produce more than 240,000 tons of finished steel annually.

This Design-Build project was a Butler pre-engineered structure with an MR-24 roof system. The building’s 75-foot-clearance spans to house two 15-ton cranes and one 40-ton crane.

We’ve completed more than 2,000 projects throughout the nation, including some of the biggest plant construction projects for producers. You can learn more about our plant construction services here.
