The USPS General Mail Facility in Jackson, Tennessee was damaged on May, 4 2003 when an F4 tornado ripped through the city. The deadly twister left a path of destruction, toppling a number of buildings, including the Jackson USPS facility.

And while we weren’t the ones who originally built the facility, we were the ones who the USPS asked to help them get their facility back on its feet. We were there the next day assessing the damage and working on a plan to renovate the structure.

The warehouse remodeling project involved the selective demolition and rebuilding of the 55,000-square-foot facility. The building interior consists of administration offices, a retail store, a mail processing center and a rent-a-box area, while the exterior of the facility consists of a brick veneer and insulated metal panels. The building’s entry has a canopy with brick veneer columns to go with insulated metal panels and a standing seam roof.

When natural disasters take their toll on your facility, we’ll be there as fast as first responders. Learn why having a disaster restoration partner is key for any facility.
