USPS Processing & Distribution Center restoration – New Orleans

We provide distributors with quality warehouse renovation — even following emergencies. This is a build we’re particularly proud of, as our work helped New Orleans recover from Hurricane Katrina.

After Hurricane Katrina, the United States Postal Service (USPS) selected The Korte Company to provide extensive restoration and renovation to their 47-year-old facility in the heart of New Orleans. It was our task to return the facility to pre-Katrina condition. As part of the job, we upgraded several areas to accommodate new electrical equipment on the second floor.

We completed the work 83 days ahead of schedule, providing the USPS a cost savings of more than $2.1 million. And our team delivered these savings while keeping the facility fully operational during the construction process.
