Specialty Surgery Center of Pecos

The Specialty Surgical Center of Flamingo was a remodel of an existing outpatient surgical center tenant.

The project included the enlargement of one of two existing operating rooms to accommodate a Class ‘C’ OR, renovation of the pre-operation and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) space. It also included the addition of a new soiled utility workroom and a new clean/sterile workroom and sterile storage room.

A new staff breakroom and administrative office were also provided. New finishes included homogenous vinyl flooring with integral cove base in the restricted areas (operating rooms, sterile corridors and workrooms), new vinyl flooring and base. We also added new vinyl-coated suspended acoustical ceilings in the PACU, new carpet, vinyl composition tile, vinyl base in the office, administrative areas, a break room, new paint on the walls and hard ceilings throughout.
