Anderson Oncology Institute

When Anderson Hospital wanted to expand its cancer treatment capabilities, they again called on The Korte Company for the construction of its new Oncology Institute. The 6,300 square foot building is located on the hospital campus, just east of the main complex. The treatment area consists of concrete bearing walls w/ concrete roof structure and is encased in concrete up to 3 ft thick, for radiation procedures. The therapy room houses state of the art equipment which can provide pin-point accuracy used to treat cancer patients. The rest of the facility includes a Chemotherapy Suite, CT Scan, Exam Rooms, Doctor's Office, Nurses Station and Waiting Room.
