“We are all united under one roof,” said the chairman of the music department at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
The Korte Company built the new two-story addition to the Communications Building that consolidates classrooms, studios, practice rooms and faculty offices for the Department of Music.
This state-of-the-art facility includes a recording studio that can link four major rehearsal rooms into a symphony of harmonious musical performance.
The project also included the renovation of existing space for the information technology unit and the existing stage and auditorium in the University Theatre.
