The Korte Company, along with Hitachi officials, joined Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry in a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this week.
The Hitachi Computer Products plant, located in Norman, Oklahoma, will be adding 200,000 square feet to its current facility. The $15 million expansion will more than double its size and add a significant number of jobs as the company moves to consolidate its North American operations.
According to Todd Korte, President and CEO of The Korte Company, “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to create a facility that will benefit Hitachi as well as the community of Norman, so it’s definitely project that has far reaching benefits.”
