The Korte Company was recently chosen as the General Contractor for Fire Station #47, located at Far Hills Avenue and Ridge Pine Street in Summerlin, Nevada. Construction for the 10,738 square foot facility is scheduled to begin in May, and is expected to finish by the end of the year. When complete, the $3,913,500 facility will feature state-of-the-art response and safety mechanisms as well as a number of amenities for the crew of firefighters.
President of The Korte Company’s Las Vegas Division, Greg Korte, stated, “This is one of several projects we have been chosen to complete for the Howard Hughes Corporation. Our past performance and reputation in the community have helped play a part in their decision to choose us for this particular project.”
