The Korte Company begins 32,000-square-foot renovation project for Designs for Health

Designs for Health, a manufacturer of superior quality nutritional products since 1989, has purchased an existing building located at 151 Gallagher Crest Road in Henderson, Nevada and will be transforming it into an additional vitamin manufacturing facility.

Over the next few months, the existing 42,000-square-foot building will undergo an extensive transformation, including the additions of 6,600 square feet of office space and a 6,144-square-foot mezzanine level on the floor above. About 11,700 square feet of new processing areas will be added as part of the scope of work on the main level. A total of 12,600 square feet of storage areas will be added to the main and mezzanine levels. In all, the project includes 32,000 square feet of improvements.

These newly created spaces will provide the additional room needed to house gel and powder processing lines and the associated product packaging. Racking systems will also be installed for the storage of raw material and finish-packaged product for distribution.

Heading up the design team is JVC Architects, headquartered in Las Vegas. The Korte Company and the JVC architectural team look forward to completing the project by May 2015.
