The Korte Company and American Nevada Corporation were recently honored by the NAIOP Southern Nevada, a chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. The Spotlight Awards drew more than 400 attendees from the industry to celebrate the best commercial projects in 2009. More than 50 entries were judged, ranging from master-planned office buildings and industrial parks to common area interiors.
American Nevada Corporation’s building, Corporate Center VI, a design-build project designed by TKC Design P.C. and built by The Korte Company received ‘The Office Building of the Year’ award. The four-story 134,000 square-foot building in Henderson, Nevada is the first in the state to receive a LEED Gold certification for shell and core construction. Corporate Center VI also won the category of ‘Office Building – Four or More Story’.
