The Korte Company received the go-ahead for the design and construction of a new Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC) Training facility in McAlester, Oklahoma. The 83,788 square foot project consists of a Training Center, Vehicle Maintenance Shop (VMS) and Storage Building.
The two-story 50,637 Training Center includes a primary Assembly Hall, Recruiting and Family Support area, weapon simulator, classrooms, administrative offices and a heated storage area. The four-bay VMS facility contains workbays, tool rooms, equipment storage, classroom, showers, lockers and library.
