The Korte Company teamed with Design Cell Architecture and Advanced Health Care Corporation to deliver the 29,269-square-foot skilled nursing facility for Advanced Health Care of Paradise.
Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the new state-of-the-art facility provides the highest quality of care to its patients, including medical, continuous nursing and social services. The Korte Company worked closely with the owners, architect and staff members to deliver the caliber of quality that has helped define AHC as the premier rehabilitation provider.
The layout was designed to incorporate central nursing and staff areas to support the facility’s 24-hour skilled care services. The centralized design not only provided the most efficient use of space but also created an open and easily accessible floor plan for its patients.
The 29,269-square-foot luxury healthcare facility included an extensive physical therapy room as well as 40 climate-controlled private suites, each with private bathrooms, showers and kitchenettes. A fully functional training kitchen was designed and installed to assist patients how to perform certain tasks given their type of rehabilitation.
The design featured a commercial-grade kitchen and prep areas, private dining room, beauty salon, spacious entryway, library, private offices and conference room areas. Also included in the scope of work were reception and administration spaces, employee lounge, locker areas and linen storage.
