The 7,740-square-foot office and garage facility houses the Bond County Transit operations. It provides transportation to the residents of Bond County who need access to medical, shopping, education and job opportunities. They have provided 30,000 rides over 265,000 miles to the users.
The facility office is 1,800 square feet, contains offices, a dispatch center, and a break and training room for the staff. The garage has space for 12 buses to provide minor maintenance and shelter. And the garage also has a wash bay for cleaning the vehicles.
We built Bond County Transit Facility on property adjacent to the Bond County Health Department. Our skilled architectural team, Korte Design, was involved with the development of the site and the construction manager of the Health Department Building.
