The Korte Company partnered with Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics (CAH&C) to develop a 6,000-square-foot Design-Build medical clinic in Virden, Illinois. This clinic replaced the CAH&C Virden Mobile Medical Clinic, which had served the northern edge of Virden since October 2023.
The mobile clinic, a walk-in facility, highlighted the significant need for healthcare services in the area, as evidenced by the considerable number of patients it accommodated.
Brian Burnside, President/CEO of Carlinville Area Hospital & Clinics, expressed excitement about the transition from a mobile to a permanent facility. “We were thrilled to make this transition,” Burnside said. “It reflected our commitment to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of our community by providing access to both primary and specialty care services.”
The CAH&C Virden Clinic provided residents with a broader range of comprehensive medical services, ensuring high-quality healthcare was conveniently available within their community. This permanent facility further underscored CAH&C’s dedication to improving the well-being of Virden and the surrounding areas. Construction was completed in Spring 2025.
