Casa Grande is a 79,540-square-foot transitional housing facility run by the State Department of Corrections. It was also the first of several projects we delivered for The Molasky Group (DBA Casa Grande LLC). The State of Nevada becomes only the fifth state to initiate this innovative type of transitional program, in which inmates receive counseling as well as housing, education, employment, financial management, medical assistance and family reunification services.
The more than $11 million project consists of a single-story administration building and two other two-story residential buildings. We partnered with subcontractors to employ more than 70 inmates during the construction of the facility, resulting in almost 10% savings to the client.
