The Korte Company was founded in 1958 with little more than three people, a truck and a saw. Today, we’re nationally recognized as one of the largest construction companies in the U.S. and as innovative leaders in Design-Build construction.
We’ve built schools throughout the country, and we’re deeply experienced in elementary school construction. Our complete, multiskilled team builds to meet the needs of students, parents, teachers, administrators and school districts. And we deliver every build on time and on budget. This is one of our many school construction projects.
Cherry Creek School District No. 5 is the third-largest school district in Colorado. The district consistently outscores both the Colorado and National Average and has grown by more than 11,000 students in 10 years. Cherry Creek School District No. 5 awarded The Korte Company a contract to provide construction services on a new, 61,000-square-foot elementary school located in Aurora, Colorado.
The district needed the new elementary school because of increasing student enrollment and expansion in the school district. The new, one-story facility contains 24 classrooms, planning rooms, a gymnasium, a media center, a computer room, a multipurpose room, a kitchen, specialized classrooms, offices and miscellaneous support rooms.
We’re proud to help educators with smart, on-point construction.
