From administrative areas, common spaces and athletic complexes to classrooms and the latest technology, we’re well-schooled in education construction. We put decades of school construction experience to work for the Effingham School District.
As the construction manager for Effingham’s $17 million building program, The Korte Company established an aggressive schedule and a tight budget for the construction of a new high school. With heavy participation from local contractors and structured bid packages, The Korte Company was able to ensure accurate, cost-effective bids.
With 58 classrooms, two gymnasiums, a cafeteria and auditorium, a media center, a home economics area, a band room and computer labs, the facility can accommodate 1,200 students. Technology was incorporated throughout the project with a network of fiber and cable connectivity to support the latest technology.
Effingham’s construction program also included the renovation of an existing high school and three elementary schools.
Effingham is one of many educational facilities we’ve delivered. In one of our other high school construction projects, we helped a school district save $60 million in a bond issue. Read this high school construction case study to learn more.
