Faith House is not like a typical home. It is a home for children, from the age of newborn to five years old, who have had prenatal exposure to drugs or children of substance abusing parents.
The Faith House Board of Directors selected The Korte Company as the design-build contractor for their new facility located in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Korte Company’s goal was to design a building that provided the children with a home-like environment while meeting state requirements for a 24-hour childcare institute.
The facility includes administrative offices, full kitchen, central courtyard, and dormitory-style rooms for the children. Significant cost savings were generated and returned to the owner, who used it to purchase additional items for the home.
