First Baptist Church is one of many church construction projects we’ve delivered through the years. And the build had a real impact on our hometown community.
Members of the First Baptist Church were devastated after a fire destroyed their building and nearly 50 years worth of history. But only 16 months after the fire, the 250-person congregation resumed its history in a new church with a 300-seat sanctuary, a fellowship hall, 10 classrooms, a kitchen and several other support rooms. The Korte Company’s Design-Build church construction team met frequently with the church’s building committee to keep everyone involved in the decision-making process. By continuously searching for cost-effective construction materials and methods, we kept the project within the church’s budget and still incorporated all of the committee’s desired features into the new building.
We’re honored to build for our neighbors, right in our backyard in Highland, Illinois. And we’re humbled to be church builders nationwide.
