The Korte Company partnered with Hershey to help deliver a 2-story tenant finish at their Bentonville, Arkansas location. The 45,000 square foot project included improvements to both the existing facility’s interior and exterior spaces.

The expansion and improvements created much needed space and enabled Hershey to increase their on-site staff by more than 30%. The Korte Company worked closely with Hershey as well as with the team of vendors, subcontractors and partners to coordinate all phases of construction.

The scope of work incorporated a comprehensive renovation of the 2-story facility that included additional footings, building pad and structural steel. The interior office spaces were redesigned and constructed to create an energizing and visually stimulating space for its occupants and featured large mural artwork, branding walls, audio visual components, signage and an innovative furniture scheme. The layout employs ambient lighting as well as an exposed ceiling to further develop the open office design.

The project also included rooftop photovoltaic panels, fitness center with bathroom facilities, locker rooms, storage areas, loading area with dock doors, meeting spaces, private and semi-private conference rooms, and an outdoor patio.

The project was awarded a LEED Gold Certification through the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
