At The Korte Company, we build smart. That means using our most powerful tool: our ears. We take the time to listen, then we deliver solutions. In this high school renovation project, we provided a facility that met the needs of Mooresville High School and the Mooresville, Indiana community — by listening.
The Mooresville High School renovation project included a complete renovation of the north and south buildings. Specific design items included a new secure main entry, an administration area, a two-story glass concourse, a virtual learning center and PE locker rooms. The school set up a program called project Lead the Way, and through that program, we helped them improve access control and circulation throughout the building.
The Mooresville team, along with The Korte Company team, created a 21st century learning environment for academic excellence through a number of renovation items, including: classrooms, restrooms, roofing, windows, exterior façade enhancements, pavement, doors and hardware, bleachers, stairway improvements, MEP, and life safety system upgrades. In the process, we saved the taxpayers of Mooresville a $60 million bond issue.
This project met the school board’s commitment to promote a superior learning environment at the best value for taxpayers, students, and staff of Mooresville High School.
