We were awarded the contract to build The Schofield Barracks Conference Center under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with the Department of the Army through its Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department.
The Korte Company provided Design-Build services for this new facility. This one-story building has a functional plan that provides an open-air environment to the outdoors.
The unique design creates an inviting atmosphere, taking advantage of the mild Hawaiian climate for banquet patrons and dinner guests. Its central core is the kitchen area with Reggie’s Restaurant branching off one wing and the other side’s banquet area wing overlooking a golf course. The use of an outdoor covered lanai space provided additional seating capacity to the banquet area.
