The Korte Company partnered with VET Industrial to design and build a Special Operations Forces Headquarters at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state.

The 40,841 square foot facility features a two-story framed structure with brick veneer and metal exterior panels. The $10.9 million project also included the demolition of two existing buildings as well as sitework and construction of additional parking areas. The facility was initially designed to receive a USGBC LEED Silver Certification. But through the hard work and dedication of the team, it was certified as USGBC LEED Gold.
