At The Korte Company, we’ve built churches, big and small, all across the country — on time and on budget. This church construction project for South Hills Church Community is one of the many centers of worship we’ve completed.
It’s a 40,000-square-foot facility with a main worship space that accommodates 1,200 members for services. Immediately outside of the main worship space, we built a coffee shop and large entry foyer that includes an expansive covered entry plaza outside.
The congregation uses the plaza as a gathering space before and after services. Additionally, we constructed a baptismal pool that gives church members a visually pleasing aesthetic at the front entranceway.
The facility provides a two-story element for youth ministry and nursery facilities on the first floor and administrative offices on the second floor. And we built an extensive play area conveniently adjacent to the daycare area to accommodate outside activities.
