St. Francis Center is a modern assisted living complex, designed and built with privacy and quality of life in mind. Located adjacent to the senior living apartments at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois, the facility provides a pleasant view of the St. Louis, Missouri riverfront.

The center consists of 30 one-bedroom and studio apartments for a total capacity of 38 residents and is the first of its kind in Southern Illinois. Each unit includes unique features, such as roll-in, walk-in showers with bench seats and a moveable showerhead, a kitchenette area and solid glass exterior walls that provide a view of either the St. Louis skyline or the interior courtyard. The center offers residents prepared meals in the dining room and a separate dining area for family gatherings and special events. Our project team also installed a personal distress system throughout the facility.

We’re proud to deliver this build and help create a needed place for seniors in our region. At The Korte Company, we’re no strangers to senior living construction and have delivered senior housing builds nationwide.
