The Howard Hughes Company selected Korte as their general contractor for the Summerlin Vistas Park Recreational Complex, a 24-acre park home to a variety of facilities including Summerlin’s first lighted football field as well as two separate lighted softball fields.
The playground area has two separate spaces with shade structures, one for small children and another for bigger kids. A 1,500-square-foot concessions structure and restroom building were included in the overall plan.
Additionally, The Korte Company provided survey work, earthwork, final grading, concrete foundations, and slab and planter walls as well as plumbing electrical, painting, ornamental metal, accessories playground equipment, shade structures and playground surfacing as defined by the scope of work.
