The Korte Company delivered a 41,368-square-foot training center for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Total Army School System (TASS) Training Center was designed and constructed to support the One Army School System model in accordance with parameters set forth by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The project consisted of the TASS Training Center as well as maintenance and unheated space for two U.S. Army Reserve units.

The Design-Build project includes an instructional kitchen, unit storage and an Organizational Maintenance Shop complete with all required utilities, storm drainage, communications, electrical, HVAC, fire protection/alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System, Force Protection measures, and site improvements.

The facility serves a weekly average training population of 150 students with a full-time staff of approximately 60 personnel. The 48-space parking area is sited to reduce the length of travel for users and visitors from the parking lot to the main entry point of the TASS while meeting Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection criteria.

The facility features sustainability/energy savings and was certified LEED Silver from the U.S. Green Building Council.
