Since 1958, we’ve built for some of the biggest companies in the U.S. And for decades, we’ve designed and built crucial distribution centers for Walgreens, formally called The Walgreen Company. Building on the successful partnership we’ve established in constructing their distribution centers, The Walgreen Company selected The Korte Company to design and build a new 14,820-square-foot retail store in Fairfax, Virginia.
We designed the retail store, located on Lee Highway, as the cornerstone of the Lee Highway corridor. The city of Fairfax challenged the Walgreens team to establish the corridor standard for others to follow. The enhanced design includes a stone veneer with accent brick veneer.
