The Korte Company's innovative approach to the multi-story facility’s design complements the base architecture and forms a campus with the adjacent Army Logistics University while reducing the project cost. When complete, the facility will receive a LEED Silver rating from the USGBC and will provide 1,000 rooms for the soldiers and their families as they transition to and from Fort Lee.
Housing construction
Ralph Korte founded The Korte Company to help neighbors with homes, barns and other basic projects. Decades later, we’re still helping people – just in different locations and the scope is a little bigger. A lot bigger, actually, but the fundamental idea is still the same.
We've delivered military-grade housing
Some of what we consider our most satisfying work at The Korte Company is constructing living quarters for the good people of our armed forces.
Our soldiers are putting their lives on the line every day, facing dangers all over the world. So we take great pride in the fact that each and every soldier’s living situation, especially those regarding the soldier’s family, is one less thing they have to worry about.
Nursing home and senior living construction at The Korte Company
We’ve been recognized as an innovator in nursing home and senior-living construction, having completed thousands of units all across the country.
From long-term care to healthcare facilities - health-related housing expertise is something we're proud to have under our roof. We understand the needs that these unique facilities have and know the ideal floor plans for them like the back of our callused hands.
Government housing construction
Our work in the government-housing sector is equally expansive and includes Parsons Place, a 40-acre project in East St. Louis, Illinois. This successful, mixed-income development encompasses seven city blocks and includes a pool, play areas and new street-scapes.
Drop us a line and let's talk about housing construction services at The Korte Company. We look forward to telling you more.
