The Korte Company is pleased to be recognized as the 61st founder of The Nevada Cancer Institute. The institute recently acknowledged the company for its gracious generosity and diligent work in the construction of the recently completed Support Services Building.
According to the Institute, The Korte Company’s thoughtful planning and philanthropic spirit resulted in a substantial savings for the project. Through value engineering efforts and the overall aggressiveness of the construction market The Korte Company amassed a cost savings of more than $3.5M. The Korte Company was entitled to a portion of these savings, but instead, donated it back to the Nevada Cancer Institute.
According to Greg Korte, president of The Korte Company’s Las Vegas Division, “When you witness day-in and day-out, the brave individuals coming to the campus for treatment, giving back was an easy choice for us.”
As a founder, The Korte Company’s name will be added to Founder’s Wall in the lobby of the flagship facility.
