Meet Leslie Musgrave, a Client Services Project Engineer at The Korte Company

We like to profile a different employee here at The Korte Company every now and then. And we don’t just focus on their ability to build smart. We also dig into what makes them tick. We’ve got a fantastic group of folks. And we’re proud to be able to introduce you to each and every one of them.

This month – meet Leslie Musgrave, a Client Services Project Engineer out of our Highland, Illinois office.

What is your role at TKC? As a Client Services Project Engineer, I assist Small Projects and Quality Assurance departments.

Where did you go to school? Edwardsville High School and SIUE for college. I actually attended one semester at U of I – great school but too far from home for this girl!

Tell us about your work experience thus far I like the variety of work that I do. I enjoy the opportunities to get out of the office to look at jobs and interact with clients and with subcontractors. I have gained a lot of knowledge in construction through those opportunities. In the office, co-workers are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thus far, it’s been a good experience that’s helped me learn and grow.

Tell us about your hobbies I love to be outdoors, riding horses and four-wheelers, and spending time with my family.

If you could hang out with one person, who would it be and what would you do? Given that it can be someone that’s already passed away, I would play cards with my grandma again.

What is build smart to you? Work smarter, not harder. It’s being more efficient in the way we work without sacrificing quality.

Family? Kids? Where do you live? Married, no kids yet. I love spending time with my family, especially my baby nephew. I live in Worden.

What’s your dream vacation? Hiking, zip-lining, anything outdoors… I’m not really a relax-on-the-beach kind of girl.   If you could Design-Build the perfect pizza, what would be on it? Deep-dish crust, light on the sauce with chicken, pepperoni, hamburger, green peppers, onions and plenty of cheese!   What’s on your iPod right now? Probably something country, like George Strait or Miranda Lambert.
